Hey Laura! 👋 We'd love to know -- where in the world are you? What do you like about it? Dislike?

East Anglia in the UK. I LOVE it. I can see the sea from my house. It's a 5 minute drive away and we spend so much time there. The only downside is that it's a bit of a drive to get anywhere because we're so tucked away from the main roads.

What’s your favorite way to create content? What’s your favorite way to consume it? Why?

I prefer to write because I can edit it as many times as I need to.

I read. Or listen to podcasts - but usually on double-time.

Describe your dream client.

Someone who is good at thing, and sells that expertise online as 1-1 services, courses, memberships and group programs AND wants a business that comfortable flexes around the other life stuff they've got going on - challenges, priorities, adventures.

Why is that person a dream client? How would you help them?

When you're running a business around a whole bunch of life stuff, but you're surrounded by messages telling you hustle, grow and scale, it can feel like you're not good enough, your should want more, you should be trying harder. It's also easy to get sucked into doing a whole bunch of marketing stuff that you don't need to be doing, so you end up spending a lot of time and energy building an empire you didn't want, and don't enjoy.

I love helping people create an online presence, marketing routine, sales funnels etc that helps them achieve what they want to achieve in their business and works around their time, energy, personality, and life stuff.

What’s a funny anecdote, related to your area of expertise, that you can’t believe you did (or believed)?

MemberVault is the FIFTH place I've hosted my course content, and I've switched email platforms three times. I have wasted a lot of time in the search for the perfect tech instead of having confidence in my content. Now I focus on small changes in the direction I want to go in, instead of trying to make big, expensive, time-consuming leaps.

How would you describe MV to an online business owner who’s never heard of it?

Very easy to use platform to host, deliver and sell your course-type content.

What made you decide to use MV? Why do you keep using MV?

I used it as a student and loved it.

It's very easy to use, great owner engagement (which is unusual I think) and lots of my students have commented that they enjoy using it.

What frustrates or annoys you about using MV?

I feel like the videos look too small - unless you expand them out to fill the screen.
